Jewel Residences Oceanway Ride

For all the cyclists out there, whether you are a serious cyclist or a recreational bike rider, you will love this event. The Jewel Residences Oceanway Ride is on September 3, 2016 on the beautiful Gold Coast and Staminade are proud to be presenting the Ultimate Ride, a 55km journey from Surfers Paradise, south to Pt Danger, then back again. You are going to be riding along the spectacular coastline and taking in so many of the fantastic iconic locations along the way.

 

The beauty of this event is it’s not a race. This opens the ride up for those who may like to get out for a good ride but not want the pressure of being the fastest cyclist. You’ll be sharing the road with the regular road users however there will be a full on-course support so you can rest assured you are going to be in safe hands.

 

Phil Liggett & Surf Life Saving

One of the great things with this ride is 10% of all entry fees will be donated to Gold Coast Surf Life Saving Clubs many of which you will see on your journey. You will also get a limited edition jersey. Limited to 500, these will be collector items with the event in its first year. The Voice of Cycling, Phil Liggett is the Event Ambassador and will be there for the event, something we are all rather excited about. After all, he is an icon within the cycling world with his dedication to bringing cycling to those worldwide and his lifelong love of cycling.

 

 

Along with the Ultimate Ride presented by Staminade, you will also find a ride for the Little Legs and a Family/Tourist Ride, giving all ages, including the kids a chance to ride and put cycling on their list of favourite things to do!
